Jotun is an international producer of high quality paints. It is based in Norway and was founded in 1926. The company’s paints and coatings are used for the treatment, protection, and beautification of surfaces. It operates through four segments: Decorative Paints, Marine Coatings, Protective Coatings, and Powder Coatings. The Decorative Paints segment develops, manufactures, sells, and distributes interior and exterior paints to consumers and professionals. The Marine Coatings segment offers various coatings to the newbuilding, drydock, and seastock markets, as well as megayachts and leisure yachts. The Protective Coatings segment provides protective coatings for the offshore, energy, infrastructure, and hydrocarbon processing industries. The Powder Coatings segment offers powder coatings for use in appliances, furniture, building components, pipelines, and general industries.
